Today during class, I was researching Six Word Stories and Ernest Hemingway. I learned more about Ernest's famous six word story " For Sale: Baby Shoes, Never Worn". and the impact six word stories can have in general. Through Hemingway's famous six word story, I learned through only a few short words, a very dark idea can be introduced. But the opposite is also true. After further research, I learned that six word stories can bring about positive ideas as well without saying anything directly. Such as "Missed my plane, caught her eye" by Tim Sevenhuysen on Twitter. This short story could have many meanings or interpretations, like most Six Word Stories, but the main thought of the story seems to be love. Six word stories are always good for getting a message across in a way that can be interpreted in many ways. They can be happy, sad, or deep. There is hardly any right or wrong, as long as it's six words. There are also other famous Six word stories by authors such as "As she fell, her mind wandered" by Rebecca Miller. A mere six words can have up to a thousand meanings. There is a hashtag for six word stories on Twitter that can help introduce six word stories. And another website describing Ernest Hemingway and his famous story.
